He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle Ginsberg McCarthy; and his parents, John McCarthy and Louise Gerardi McCarthy. He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Harvey (Martha Ginsberg), Lewis (Barbara Ginsberg) and William (Diane Ginsberg). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Phalen Funeral Home (285 Migeon Ave, Torrington, CT 06790). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (76 Walnut St, Torrington, CT 06790).
