John Melaragno Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2025, at the age of 86, John Melaragno (Torrington, Connecticut) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Melaragno to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor (Soucy); his daughters, Elisa Michell (Rob), Karen Huxley (Walter), Ann Marie Melaragno and Coreen Dupre (Steve); his grandchildren, Kyle Michell (Brooke), Katelyn Michell (Lee Weaver), Zachary Huxley (Seina Shirakura), Dylan Dupre and Aiden Dupre; his great grandchildren, Ian and Jameson Michell; and his sister Mary DiGioacchino (Luigi).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Cemetery (236 E Pearl Rd, Torrington, CT 06790).

Donations can be made in John's name to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care, 601 Mariposa Way, The Villages, FL 32162.
