He was predeceased by: his parents, Tarquin Barbieri and Pauline Barbieri; his wife Joyce Barbieri (Weingart); and his siblings, Adele Benamati (Barbieri) and John Campanelli.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray (Rita), Jim (Nancy) and Brian (Kimberly); his pet Nutmeg; his grandchildren, Rachel Barbieri (Finley), Raven Barbieri (Boisvert), Gillian Barbieri, Zachary Barbieri and Amber Barbieri; his stepgrandchildren, Cassandra Morin, Amanda Bushka and Jay Crump; and his nieces and nephews, Paula Dansereau, Susan Benamati, Greg Campanelli, Keith Campanelli, Rick Campanelli, Donna Palmer, Susan Slavich (Palmer) and Wayne Palmer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care Fund of the Litchfield Hills, Inc. 200 Kennedy Drive, Torrington, CT 06790 or a local cat shelter, in honor of Nutmeg.
