With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Lewandowski (Torrington, Connecticut), who passed away on March 29, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Julia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Julia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Lewandowski (Sosnowski) and Stephen Lewandowski; her brother Thomas Lewandowski; and her friend Gertie Schraeder. She is survived by: her brother James Lewandowski; her nephews, Justin and Darren Lewandowski; her uncle Edward Sosnowski; and her cousins, John, Robert and Mark Sosnowski. She is also survived by her family's plot, beside her parents.
