Katherine Alves Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Alves (Torrington, Connecticut), who passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katherine Alves to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her former husband David Alves; her mother Dorothea Davis (Holt); her stepfather Harry Davis; and her brothers, Charles Gross and Richard Gross (Antonia).
She is survived by: her son Richard Alves (Darci); her sister-in-law Virginia Ehlinger; her grandchildren, Daniel Alves (Kimberly), Christina Ruzbasan (Michael), Melissa Carbone (Timothy) and Katherine Alves; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Domenick, Emily, Charlotte, Mikayla, Thomas, Samantha, Paityn and Josh; and her husband Bill. She is also survived by mother, grandma and "GG" to her great grandchildren.
Dale was an avid animal lover and in lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that donations be made to the Little Guild or to the Alzheimer's Association.
