She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isabella Beecher (O'Heron) and Donald Beecher; her husband Major James Jordan Hlavacek; her son Michael Cellerino (Kristen); her grandchildren, Trevor, Sophie and MacKenzie; her daughter Maria Schweyer (Joseph); her grandchildren, Lizzie, Ben and Katie; her stepson James J. Hlavacek, Jr. (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Emma and James; her stepson Scott Hlavacek (Danielle); her grandchildren, Colin and Mikayla; and her siblings, Stephen Beecher, Donna Zuffalatto, D. Wayne Beecher and Debbie Pasquale.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UConn Foundation for a scholarship fund for the NEAG School of Education to be endowed in her name.
