He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Lovato and Priscilla Lovato (Norton); his siblings, Kim Kantor, James Lovato and Paula Doolittle; his nephews, Brian Maestri and Bruce Sarasin; and his niece Jessika Lovato.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Lovato-Giarnese (Andrew), Danielle Trivaudey-Lovato and Jordyn Lovato; his grandchildren, Ava Giarnese, Mia Giarnese and Luka King; and his siblings, Fred Lovato, Carla Bazzano and Tina Sarasin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
