Nora Brosnan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora Brosnan of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James O'Leary and Mary O'Leary (Sweeney). She is survived by: her husband Timothy Brosnan; her daughters, Mary Carr of Lindenhurst, NY, Kathleen Gliganic (Robert) of Seaford, NY, Barbara Brosnan Rivera (Jaimmie) of Metuchen, NJ and Patricia Veneziano (Joseph) of Torrington, CT; her sister Kathleen Galvin of Sneem, Ireland; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lindsey (Veneziano), Jennifer, William, Timothy, Karen (Carr), Ryan, Julia (Gliganic), Sean, Luke and Mairead (Rivera); and her great grandchild Vega. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends attending the Mass and funeral services must comply with CDC recommendations for COVID prevention by following social distancing and wearing protective facemasks.
