It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard S. Gryniuk of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his spouses, Torrington Mayor and Mary Jane Gryniuk (Schroeder); his parents, Stanley and Anna Gryniuk (Bujac); and his brother Bernard Gryniuk.

He is survived by : his children, Mark W. Gryniuk (Linda) of New Hartford, Michael R. Gryniuk of New Haven, Jeffrey L. Gryniuk (Liz Jacob) of Harwinton and Julie Ann Nilsson (Alan) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Mitchell Gryniuk, Jordan Marie Nilsson, Lukas Gryniuk, Jacob Nilsson and Nathan Gryniuk; and his brother James Gryniuk (Chris) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
