He was predeceased by : his mother Francis Mary Rose (Welton); his brother-in-law Dick Smith; and his close friend Mike Roth. He is survived by : his wife Mary Rose (Gardner) of Torrington; his children, Michael Rose (Kristin) of Auburn, Heather Bukowski (Daniel) of Terryville and Jennifer Cwalina (Craig) of Plantsville Connecticut; his grandchildren, Dylan, David Bukowski, Brett, Ashley Rose and Carter Cwalina; his siblings, Patricia Smith (Rose) of Troy and Douglas Rose (Augusta) of Sherman; and his brother-in-law James Gardner (Shirley) of Northfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
