He was predeceased by : his wife Elsie Dionne (Wheeler); his parents, Joseph Dionne and Eva Dionne (Breton); his son Michael Dionne; and his sister Rita Roberts.

He is survived by : his children, Brenda Buccheri of New Hartford, CT, Steven Dionne (Lynnann) of Laconia, NH, Joseph Dionne (Daureen) of Torrington, CT, Anthony Dionne (Robain) of Lakeville, CT and Justin Dionne of Joplin, MS. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
