Roland Peters Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 7, 2020, at the age of 89, Roland Peters of Torrington, Connecticut, born in Danforth, Maine passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland L. Peters and Cora Peters (Wilson); his stepmother Esther Peters (Joyce); and his grandson John Michael Peters. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Zak); his son Mark (Janet) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandson Class Cadet (Junior); his son Steven (Maria) of Yorktown, VA; his grandchildren, Cecelia, Zachariah and Jill Edwards (Kyle); and his great grandchild Ethan Edwards of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Their efforts, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, were always on patient care and family support. Thanks to Valerie Manor, Roland survived and recovered from COVID-19 in May and died peacefully of natural causes.
