He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Beecher (Julian); his children, Carla Derrickson of Torrington, Ronald Beecher Jr. (Jenny Eldridge) of Avon and David Beecher of Torrington; his grandchildren, Justin, Sara Derrickson of Torrington, Jayden, Mason and Ayden Beecher of Avon; his siblings, Donna Larson and George Beecher; and his aunt Fay Bosco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
