He is survived by: his wife Judy Rakyta (Gibbons); his daughters, Kimberly Bado (John), Jessica Rodegher (Joe) and Caitlin Thomson (David); his grandchildren, Jack, Brooke Bado, Nicholas, Sofia Rodegher and Maeve Thomson; his brother Fred Rakyta (Kim); and his nieces, Stacy Quint and Kristen Rakyta. He is also survived by three grandnieces, one grandnephew, and many close cousins and friends.
