With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Trude Galitello of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on August 7, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Trude Galitello to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Volland and Gertrude Volland (Eisenhut); and her sister Charlotte Basso. She is survived by: her husband Morse Galitello; and her children, Thomas Galitello of San Diego, CA, Christopher Galitello of Florida, Andrea Antczak of Germany, Robin Hieblinger of Germany and Stephanie Gebhardt of Germany. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

I remember whenever I visited Morse and Trudie I would always accompany Trudie for Sunday mass at the church she loved and was a big part of that church. I always enjoyed talking with her. I’ll never forget the Chinese Chequers breakfasts with Trudie and Morse. Great memories. I was a disappointment to her and my family but was blessed to have known her. Love. Stelios xxx”
