It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Umberto Persechino of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Persechino and Angelina Persechino; and his siblings, Fiorello, Diamante, Peter, Lilia, Guerina and Atilia LaMonica.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Persechino; his children, Robert Persechino (Laurie) of New Hartford, CT, Diane Persechino-Lanese (Michael Lanese) of Waterbury, CT and Janet Persechino of Boston, MA.; and his grandchildren, Jamieson Reynolds, Andrea Persechino, Robert Persechino, Ryan Persechino and Christopher Persechino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Avenue Torrington, CT on Monday, January 25th from 4:00 p. m. – 8:00 p. m. Covid -19 protocol-masks, social distancing, and capacity restrictions apply.
