He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Patrice Connole (O'Meara); his parents, William H. Connole, Sr. and Mary Connole (Zompro); and his brothers, John Connole, Donald Connole and Dennis Connole.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kathleen Bakutis (Michael) of New Hartford and Elizabeth "Beth" Pond (William) of New Hartford; his grandson Michael Bakutis of New Hartford; his siblings, Katherine Yacovino (Michael), Thomas Connole (Lois), Paul Connole (Ginger), Theodore Connole of Torrington and David Connole of Bristol; and his caregiver Edward Darko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
