Charles Widlitz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Widlitz of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Charles may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Widlitz and Frances Widlitz. He is survived by: his wife Susan Widlitz (Siegel); his sons, Todd Widlitz (Allison) and Eric Widlitz (Sarah); his granddaughters, Alexa, Jillian, Sydney and Addison; and his sister Selma Gold (Jerome). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rodeph Sholom Memorial Park (183 Kings Hwy E, Fairfield, CT 06825).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom in memory of Charles Widlitz.
