She was predeceased by : her husband John Butka; her parents, Frank Potter and Dorothy Shey Potter; and her siblings, Walter Potter, Grace McGill and Elizabeth Keenan.

She is survived by : her daughters, Carol Ann Anderson (Barton) of Louisville, KY, Dianne Stempien (Bruce) of Trumbull, Johann Butka of Trumbull and Dorie Lukianuk (Philip) of Trumbull; and her grandson Hans Anderson (Vanessa).
