She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Brown and Velda Brown; her husband Bill Parson; her granddaughter Sara Taccone; her sons-in-law, John Taccone and Kevin Shea; and her sister-in-law Rita Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Parson, Margo Parson-Shea, Sheila Parson-Taccone, Shari Lamson and Michele Hope; her grandchildren, Addyson Clancy, Kathryn Taccone-Colon (Will Colon), Jake Taccone, Megan Betz (Jason Betz), Kristine Lamson, Troy Lamson, Will Hope (Alicia Hope), Jessica Hope and Zach Hope; her great grandchild Nolan Betz; and her brother Jerry Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Executive Drive, Suite 202.
