It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene R. Scaperotta of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on January 26, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene R. Scaperotta to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Generoso Scaperotta and Wilhelmina La Rosa Scaperotta; his brother William; and his nephew Matthew Scaperotta. He is survived by : his wife Alexandria "Sandy" Yezik Scaperotta; his children, Paula (Carl Haggstrom), Gene Jr. Scaperotta (Eve), JoAnn (Jerry Young) and Diana Miller; his grandchildren, Travis, Sean Young, Eric, Matthew Haggstrom, Alex, Libby Scaperotta, Cassidy and Allie Miller; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Neil Haggstrom, Taylor, Aubree Young, Gabe, Harper and Hadley Young. He is also survived by four children, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
