He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Giles Sr. and Gloria Gibson Giles; and his sister Lorraine Giles. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Simone L. Cuomo (Anthony), Rashard R. Giles, Monique N. Roberts-Giles (Donya) and Melissa N. Douse; his grandchildren, Nicholas X. Cuomo, London A. Douse, Dominic T. Cuomo, Madison N. Roberts-Giles and Jaxon L. Douse; his nephew Lem Giles; and his brother-in-law Larry Harris. He is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
