James Genova Obituary
James Genova, born on June 7, 1952 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on August 30, 2026. James leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Genova and Ann Genova; and his goddaughter Alicia Genova. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Genova; his children, James Genova Jr. (Lindsey), Steven Genova, Stefani Pocevic (Ryan) and Nicole Rizio (Frank); and his grandchildren, Sofia, Adriana, Isla Genova, Dominic Pocevic, Giovanni, Lorenzo and Siena Rizio. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home (399 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (5301 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611).
