Jean Higgins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Higgins of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Higgins to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Higgins Jr. Born; her parents, John Sembrot and Stella Sembrot (Falkowski); her former husband Thomas Baldyga Sr.; her siblings, John Sembrot and Barbara Chockey; and her pet Foxy.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jean Baldyga Festini of Shelton and Thomas Baldyga Jr. (Pam) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Zachary Festini, Julia and Carly Baldyga; her stepchildren, Robin Nagy, Jeannie Horan (Bob) and William Higgins (Jennifer); and her sister Eleanor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a favorite charity, in Jean's loving memory.
