Though Joan Virginia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph T. Altieri; and her parents, Andrew Sapitowicz and Virginia Sapitowicz (Jean) of Milford, CT.. She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Altieri Alexander (Russ) of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Ian Alexander (Carla) and Alexa Jean Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Merrick, Vale and Elsa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
