She was predeceased by: her father Eduardo Lopez Lafuente; and her son Edward Alvarez. She is survived by: her mother Manuela Diaz Naya; her husband Joseph; her daughter Helen Moran (Robert) of Trumbull; her grandsons, Joseph Alan Alvarez (Kelsey) of Florida and Jonathan Edward Alvarez of New Hampshire; her great grandchildren, Isabella Grace of New Hampshire and Landon Joseph of Florida; her granddaughter Lisa Pellegrino; her niece Ines Avellan; her nephews, Francisco Avellan of Spain, Jerry Rey and Alex Rey (Myrna); her friend Pamela Burke of Atlanta; and her caregivers, Yanelquis, Sophia, Jackie and Loida.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gregory Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Ann Church (St. Raphael Parish) (501 Naugatuck Ave, Milford, CT 06460).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
