The memory of Miriam Tierney (Trumbull, Connecticut), who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Costello and Sarah Costello; her husband Robert E. Tierney; and her siblings, Jack Costello, Joan Piccininni, Kitty Zarlengo and Daniel Costello.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Ray Gallagher), Carolyn (Bill Bourque), Bob (Betty Tierney) and Elizabeth (Joe Greenwood); her grandchildren, Daniel, Connor and Lindsey Gallagher; her children, Lauren, Audrey, Matthew Bourque, Ryan, Dylan Tierney, Ellen, Tim and Rob Greenwood; and her great grandchildren, Hunter and Kayden Tierney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home (399 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Theresa Church (5301 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
