He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry LaVelle and Mildred LaVelle (Jaeger). He is survived by: his fiancée Lucille Ramirez; and his brother Robert LaVelle (Donna) of Florida.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen Church (6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611).
