Robert D. Doxey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2026, Robert D. Doxey of Trumbull, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Doxey and Dorothy Douglas Doxey; and his brother John E. Doxey, Jr. (Jed). He is survived by: his cousins, Robert Gomulski (Elizabeth) of Monroe and Patricia Hoyt (Philip) of Danbury; and his niece Lynn Little.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (1530 Bronson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
