It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Frances McMenamey of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Horvath and Joseph Horvath; and her granddaughter Brenna McMenamey. She is survived by: her husband Bill of Michael's Church; her children, Cathy DeCarle (Joe), Patricia Carpenter (Paul), William McMenamey III (Anne), Robert McMenamey (Maureen) and Shaun McMenamey (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Wesley Carpenter (Melissa), Lane Carpenter (Shannon), Grant Carpenter (Laura), Case Carpenter (Olivia), Joseph DeCarle, Lauren Gimber (Alex), Kelly Perkins (Mike), Christopher McMenamey, Bill McMenamey IV, Colin McMenamey, Patrick McMenamey, Dylan McMenamey, Jack McMenamey and Brooke McMenamey; and her great grandchildren, Tenley, Cecelia, Whit Carpenter, Myles, Greyson Carpenter, Rowan, Quinn, Cameron Perkins, Emmett and Peyton Shirley Gimber.
