She was predeceased by: her husband Edward M. Curtis; her parents, Valton "Sonny" Cowser and Katie Mae Cowser; her brother Dale Cowser; her parents-in-law, Ed "Curt" Curtis and Barbara Curtis; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Grellier, Betsy (Doug Winquist) and Nelma Cowser.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Bates (Ben) of Cumming, GA, David Curtis (Hilary Mayo) of Trumbull, CT and Diane Kovalik (Bill) of Monroe, CT; her grandsons, Michael, Zachary Tracy, Bennie and Bryce Bates; her brother Don Cowser; and her sister-in-law Nancy Grellier. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
