It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer P. Deshefy of Uncasville, Connecticut, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, SuEllen Boutin and Michael Deshefy; his grandson Derek Rockholz; his siblings, Eugene Deshefy, Irene Brennan, Viola Roy and Beverly DeFalco; and his parents, Eugene Deshefy and Mary Deshefy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara S. Deshefy; his brother James Deshefy (Dawn); his daughters, Paula MacDonald (Thomas) and Linda Deshefy; his children-in-law, Bob Boutin and Cindy Deshefy; his grandchildren, Patrick, Dan (Megan), Ryan MacDonald (Kathryn), Nick, Adam Deshefy, Dave and Cindy Brault; and his great grandchildren, Cole Rockholz, Kelsey and Kevin Brault. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
