She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Gehrcke and Ilse Gehrcke (Kikkerman); her husband Edward Jacobowitz; her brothers, Claus Gehrcke and Frederich Gehrcke (Fritz); and her children, Susan Rice and Samuel E. Cohen.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Bernard, Lawrence, Jesse Cohen and Deborah Hyland; and her grandchildren, Melissa Rice Resendiz, Derrick Rice, Samuel J. Cohen and Mana Cohen. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jewish Aid Cemetery.
