He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Smart and Marie Exilia Smart (Soucey); his sister Joyce Jandreau; and his brother-in-law James Duggan. He is survived by: his wife Jean M. Smart (Derosier); his children, Kimberly Chenoweth (Michael) of Baldwinville, MA and Kevin Smart of Westfield, MA; his granddaughters, Sydney and Hayley Chenoweth; and his sisters, Judy Raymond of Fort Kent, ME and Jean Duggan of Gloucester, VA..
