We announce the death of Kathleen D. Lewis of Vernon, Connecticut, born in Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Dakin and Rose Dakin; her siblings, George, Fred and Marilyn; and her daughter Mary.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Palmer" Lewis; and her children, Kathleen Plante, Jane Stanton (Paul), Lori Klar (John), Joanne Cerreto (Barry) and Christopher Lewis (Karen). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Parish - St. Bernard (25 St Bernard's Terrace, Vernon, CT 06066). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Bernard Cemetery (12 Tolland Ave, Vernon, CT 06066).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
