We bid farewell to Shirley Cacio of Vernon, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2026 at the age of 98. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Deschene and Mabel Deschene (Wheeler); her husband Pasquale Cacio; her siblings, Albert Deschene, Phyllis Kulpanowski, Mabel Scata, Charles Deschene and Janet Jordan; and her grandsons, Anthony Cacio, Jason Cacio and Jeremy Sufrin.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Westfield of Pennsylvania; her children, Thomas Cacio (Donna) of Enfield, Richard Cacio (Margie) of Meriden, Diane Sufrin (Steven) of South Windsor, Linda Mille (Joseph) of South Windsor, Anthony Cacio (Lori) of South Windsor and Marie May (James) of Vernon; and her sister-in-law Jean Deschene. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
