He was predeceased by: his wife Helene Radjeski-Edwards; his parents, Elmer Edwards and Lillian Edwards (Lupinski); and his siblings, James Edwards, Maureen Jayne and Lillian Yoga.
He is survived by: his children, William Edwards Jr., Mark Edwards (Maureen) of Cheshire, Ryan Edwards (Nina) of Wallingford, Cheryl Cartier (Paul) of Hamden and Michelle Burke (Timothy); and his brother George Edwards (Marie) of North Haven. He is also survived by his 6 step-children, 7 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren.
