We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2025, at the age of 84, Joyce E. Cassidy of Voluntown, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Sweet and Eileen Sweet (McKenna); her son Peter Cassidy; and her siblings, Allen Jr., Harold, Douglas Sweet, Joan Trudeau, Linda Gaudreau and Donna Barry.
She is survived by: her husband Francis Cassidy Jr.; her sons, Michael Cassidy (Lynne) of Griswold and Keith Cassidy (Darlene) of Griswold; her daughter-in-law Kelly Cassidy of Voluntown; her grandchildren, Amanda Marthaler (Cody), Melissa, Patrick, Madisyn and Shelby Cassidy; her great grandchildren, Annabelle and Caleb Marthaler; her siblings, James, Wayne Sweet and Kathy Ross; and her friend Will. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
