Susan M. Richardson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan M. Richardson of Voluntown, Connecticut, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Richardson and Irene Richardson (McDonnell); and her brothers-in-law, Mario Della Grotta and Paul E. Smith, III. She is survived by: her children, Madison Rebecca Dewey and Justin Myles Dewey of Taunton, MA.; her stepchildren, Marco Giovanni Romano, Siena Louise Romano and Americo David Romano; and her sisters, Sheri A. Della Grotta (Timothy Wolfe) of Cranston and Sandra M. Smith of Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
