He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tavares and Mary Tavares. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tavares (D'Errico); his daughters, Pamela Savenelli (Michael Savenelli Sr.) and Dori Mainella (William Mainella); his grandchildren, Michael Savenelli Jr., Angela Buccheri, Rebecca Orosz and Alexa Bessette; and his sister Annibelle Mackay. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
