He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony M. LaPenna and Carmella M. LaPenna (DeLuca). He is survived by : his wife Loretta; his children, Tony, Jay, Lisa Jensen (Chris), Danielle O'Malley (Bill), Chris, John, Matt (Ashawnta Jackson) and Noël Mills (Eric); and his grandchildren, Ally Notaro, TJ Jensen, Brendan LaPenna (Talore), Dan Jensen, Cassidy LaPenna, Bobby Jensen (Susy), Claudia Bickers (Warren), Jibbers Jensen, Connor O'Malley, Ryan O'Malley, Kaitlin O'Malley and Oliver Mills.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
