Antonina Parla Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonina Parla of Wallingford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo A. Parla; her parents, Joseph Prizzi and Natalie Prizzi (Ciaccio); her grandchildren, Tammy Larsen and Timothy L. Shaw; and her siblings, Frances Santoro, Sadie Zalanka, Pauline Libassi, Peter, Salvatore, George, Natsio II and Frank Prizzi.
She is survived by: her son John R. Parla (Sheila) of Granby; her sister Marion Gibertoni of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Dina Parla (Lisa) of South Orange, NJ and Michael Parla (Lisa) of Chester, NJ; her great grandchildren, Joshua Larsen, Joseph Nitsch, Samuel Parla, Sarah Parla, Ethan Parla and Helen Parla; and her great great grandchildren, Jakob Larsen, Joseph Larsen and Jeremiah Larsen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and cherished friends.
