She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Malkowski; and her brother Walter Malkowski. She is survived by: her children, Jaime L. Gieparda of Branford, Kenneth J. Gieparda and Jason W. Gieparda; her siblings, Lauri J. Carrano (Michael Carrano), Lewis Malkowski (Anna Malkowski) of East Haven and David F. Malkowski of East Haven; and her grandson Lawrence Allen Konareski, III.
