Barbara Sandusky Comstock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Sandusky Comstock of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Comstock; and her parents, Theresa Sandusky (Wigh) and Alex Sandusky. She is survived by: her children, George E. Mitchell III (Rose) of Southington, Jonathan A. Mitchell (Theresa) of Revere, MA and Susan M. Mitchell of New Haven; her stepchildren, Stacey Finch (Jerry) of Middlefield, Donald Comstock, Jr. (Tracy) of Wallingford and Sarah Godden (Rick) of Baton Rouge, LA; and her siblings, Gail Kearney (Barry) of Columbia, MD and John Sandusky (Kathy) of Meriden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home (273 S Elm St, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of the Resurrection (115 Pond Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. John Cemetery (400 Christian St, Wallingford, CT 06492).
It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to the charity of one's choice.
