She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Comstock; and her parents, Theresa Sandusky (Wigh) and Alex Sandusky. She is survived by: her children, George E. Mitchell III (Rose) of Southington, Jonathan A. Mitchell (Theresa) of Revere, MA and Susan M. Mitchell of New Haven; her stepchildren, Stacey Finch (Jerry) of Middlefield, Donald Comstock, Jr. (Tracy) of Wallingford and Sarah Godden (Rick) of Baton Rouge, LA; and her siblings, Gail Kearney (Barry) of Columbia, MD and John Sandusky (Kathy) of Meriden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to the charity of one's choice.
