We bid farewell to Bertha Meyer of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 15, 2025 at the age of 81. Bertha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Meyer and Mary Meyer (Serra); and her siblings, Richard Meyer, Karl Meyer, Karla Ingram and Debbie Cronin.
She is survived by: her friends, Michael, Jennifer and Cody Marietta; her children, Renee Jones of Wallingford, Dana Noyes of Meriden and Jim Wainer (Rochelle) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, DJ, Kristina, Kelly, Kayla, Cooper, Ryan, Austin and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Joey, Amelia, Ashton and Mia; her brother Thomas Meyer (Pat); her sisters-in-law, Sue Funaro and Rheta Meyer; her niece Sue Stapleton; her great-nephew Evan; and her great-niece Hannah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
