She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Kirby; and her parents, Russell Alter and Betty Alter (Hammer). She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Joan Flanagan of Meriden; her grandsons, Sean and Devin Flanagan; her stepchildren, Neil, Gary, Dale and Debby Kirby; and her friend Pat (Bonnie).
