It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Perry (Wallingford, Connecticut), who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert LaVasseur and Sara LaVasseur (Soule); her sisters, Barbara Soule and Susan Yale; and her brother-in-law Edward Beauvais (Frenchie).
She is survived by: her husband Richard Perry; her daughters, Jennifer Biehn of Naugatuck and Christine Pretti (Jim) of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Jackie, Patrick, Jake, Faye, Nathan and Mitchell; her great grandchild Madison; her brother James; her sister-in-law Michele LaVasseur; and her close friend Judy Gumprecht of Meriden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
