Edward J. Swinkoski Obituary

Edward J. Swinkoski, 62, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17th, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in New Haven on February 14, 1959, he was the son of the late John J. and Mary H. Wilk Swinkoski. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Edward was a Certified Public Accountant and at the time of his passing was the Finance Director for the Town of North Haven. He was a member of the CCM, AICPA, CT CPA and the GFOA. Ed's enjoyment was his Tuesday and Friday night card games. Brother of David Swinkoski and his wife Kimberly. Uncle of Stephen Swinkoski and his wife Stephanie, and Andrew Swinkoski. Great Uncle of Cody, Wyatt and was expecting another great nephew shortly. Also survived by his fiancé Janet Crean.

The visiting hours will be Friday, Jan. 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Friends are invited to meet directly at St. Agnes Cemetery, Route 1, Branford on Saturday morning Jan. 22nd at 10:00 to attend a graveside funeral service. Please omit flowers and if so desired, all contributions in Edward's memory may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Avenue, Meriden, CT 06450 or the CT Audubon Society, 1 Milford Point Road, Milford, CT 06460.
