He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Rametta and Rose Rametta (DeBaise). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Rametta; his daughters, Michele Kolios (Achilles) of South Glastonbury, Jean Casertano of Meriden and Kristen Rametta of Meriden; his grandchildren, Johansen Wilson of Meriden, Samantha Kolios of Destin, FL and Rachel Casertano of Meriden; his great grandchildren, Mia Wilson and Alaia Wilson; and his brother-in-law Paul Stevens (Paula). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
