She was predeceased by: her husband Walter J. Carmody; her parents, Stanley Lathrop and Hazel Lathrop (Wimpenny); and her siblings, Jean Lathrop, Joan Lathrop, Grace Willhelm, Elizabeth Bartlett and Stanley Lathrop.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail C.; her son-in-law James Rainey of Wallingford; her sons, W. John Carmody of Chapel Hill, NC and Robert L. (Jeanne Carmody); and her grandchildren, J. Todd Rainey, Jennifer Rainey Quigley, Christen Rainey Birney, John C. Rainey, W. Justin Carmody, Megan H. Carmody, Samuel L. Carmody and Tobin J. Carmody. She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
